Hey my phone has an old version of Ebuddy which is a default app and can not be deleted, how can i download an?

i have tried to download the newer version but it says "another version of Ebuddy has been detected, do u wish to overwrite?" if i click yes it says "operation canceled" becoz the other Ebuddy came with the phone and can't be deleted! what do i do?
