How did you start potty training?

My daughter is 15 months old. We introduced the potty, but are not pushing it on her. She pees everytime we take her diaper off for a bath, so I started sitting her on the potty every night before bath time while the water runs. She also sits on the potty when me or her dad does, but doesn't necessarily have to use it. I will sit her on the potty and read books with her for 15 or so minutes. Usually, at some point she ends up going. Then we all make a big deal clapping and cheering for her. I think her using the potty is just luck and coincidence, but hopefully at some point, she will make the connection.
