I have freshly installer windows xp but have no drivers to connect to internet?

It's likely there aren't even any XP drivers available for that computer if it came with Vista installed when you bought it. You can download the drivers from another computer, store them on a Flash-Drive or CD, then connect the media device to your computer and install them that way.
